Wiltrude’s daughter. A pert but likeable young lady, who takes everyone’s heart by storm with her cheerful & animate manner. She is attractive like her mother & at the same time both imprudent & elegant. The prankster at the vineyard Oggau, she is nonetheless most reliable & steady. She has a particularity close relationship with her beloved grandmother Mechthild & her favourite uncle Emmeram.
Theodora is back, bringing joy to our lives once again. Seductive, sassy and supremely well-structured. Spirited, independent and a little stubborn as ever. But that’s just the way we want her, because life is all about being true to yourself. Never backing down and holding your own against the pressures of conformity. In a World full of compromise, we need characters like her to inspire us to stand up for what we believe in. With every sip of Theodora, she may awaken a little of the rebel within you too.
Region
The Burgenland wine region is located in eastern Austria, bordering Hungary to the east. It is one of Austria’s leading wine-producing areas and is known for its diverse range of high-quality wines. The region is characterized by a continental climate, with warm summers and cold winters, and a variety of soil types that contribute to the unique terroir of the wines produced there.
It also has a rich history and has made significant strides in improving the quality of its wines in recent years. The region’s commitment to sustainable and innovative winemaking practices has garnered international recognition for its unique and exceptional wines.
Vinification
Grapes are hand harvested and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in used 500, 1000 and 1500-liter barrels. The wine stays in these barrels for an elevage of about 9 months, with no batonnage. The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero addition of sulfur. Certified Organic & Biodynamic.
Ideal drinking temperature 10 °C.

Is there a minimum order?
There are no minimum orders however, there is a minimum order if you want to benefit from free delivery. For free delivery, the minimum order is €50.00.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we offer a delivery service to the address you have indicated in the order form. Orders for a box €50.00 or more benefit from free delivery. If the order is for less than a €50.00 a delivery charge may be applied, and will be calculated and added to your order on check-out.
Do you refund?
All sales are final, and no refunds given. The only exception is if there is a fault to the wine.
How do I store the wine?
It is up to you to properly store the wine after receiving delivery. The recommended storage is in a dark place, away from movements or vibrations, and at a temperature between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. This temperature varies from the recommended serving temperature, which varies according to the type of wine you will be consuming.
Do you stock vegan or no-added-sulphur wines?
Yes, at Holy Wines, we stock wines which contain no added sulphur, and which are vegan. These are indicated in the product information on this website.
