Wine
Supple dark fruit and a pinch of sweet, green herbs tickle the nose. On the palate it is strong and grippy with appetizing “cool” black tea tannins and lots of fruity forest berry aromas and spicy notes. Wonderful freshness and a long finish offer great drinking pleasure. The structure, the density of the fruit and the freshness underline the great potential of this wine.

Baden is situated in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, bordering France to the west and Switzerland to the south. It stretches from the northern part of the Black Forest to the northern outskirts of the city of Basel.

Climate & Terroir
The region benefits from a relatively mild climate, thanks to its proximity to the Rhine River and the shelter provided by the Black Forest to the east. The diverse terroir of the region, including various soil types and microclimates, allows for the cultivation of a wide range of grape varieties.
Premium Wine Range
The premium wine range are coming from carefully selected vineyards. These vineyards may have specific characteristics, such as unique soil types, optimal microclimates, and well-established vines, which contribute to the wines’ exceptional quality. There wines are aged for an extended period to develop complexity, depth, and character with various aging techniques, such as aging in oak barrels, to impart additional flavors and textures to the wines.
History
It takes a lot of courage to plant Cabernet Franc and Merlot in the Markgräflerland, as the usual vineyards are limited to the Burgundian varieties and Chasselas. That’s why, 15 years ago, the idea of planting Mediterranean vines here was met with wide scepticism. For quite some time now the Cuvée Felix stood out as one of the flagships of this winery. Over the years this noble Bordeaux blend, garnered a solid growing appraisal.

Is there a minimum order?
There are no minimum orders however, there is a minimum order if you want to benefit from free delivery. For free delivery, the minimum order is €50.00.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we offer a delivery service to the address you have indicated in the order form. Orders for a box €50.00 or more benefit from free delivery. If the order is for less than a €50.00 a delivery charge may be applied, and will be calculated and added to your order on check-out.
Do you refund?
All sales are final, and no refunds given. The only exception is if there is a fault to the wine.
How do I store the wine?
It is up to you to properly store the wine after receiving delivery. The recommended storage is in a dark place, away from movements or vibrations, and at a temperature between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. This temperature varies from the recommended serving temperature, which varies according to the type of wine you will be consuming.
Do you stock vegan or no-added-sulphur wines?
Yes, at Holy Wines, we stock wines which contain no added sulphur, and which are vegan. These are indicated in the product information on this website.
